In the past I have taken one scrapbook paper cut in half lengthwise and taped one end together....accordion pleat and wrapped around the iced cupcake bottom then taped together. This can be removed just before cutting. If you cannot get the liner out put it back in the refrigerator. It needs to be completely cool before it will come out. It should just slip right out easily!
